  • Is there a participation minimum?
    Most of our tours have no minimum but there is a minimum of 2 people for a few of our trips. If you are interested in a trip that has a minimum of 2 persons and are travelling solo we can take down your information and contact you if more people book the trip.
  • Do you have a waiting list for tours?
    We, unfortunately, don’t have a waiting list for our tours but feel free to check the availability sheet on our website as all updates will automatically be made to the sheet listed in each tour‘s description. We also offer a lot of different adventure tours around Greece so chances are that we will have a similar version of the tour that you were originally looking for.
  • What currency do you accept?
    We process all payments in EURO (EUR). Prices in your currency might vary slightly depending on the conversion rate set by your card issuer. KRI KRI EXPERIENCE is not responsible for currency changes between different currencies.
  • Which payment methods does KRI KRI EXPERIENCE accept?
    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club for all countries. In addition, we offer various local payment methods in many other countries such as UnionPay and JCB (Japan Credit Bureau).
  • How does the refunding procedures work when we cancel a tour?
    If we cancel a tour you have booked with us you will receive a 100% refund. The refund process is different depending on the way you booked the tour. If you booked the tour on our website we will start the refund as soon as we know you will not be rescheduling and you will receive a separate email with the confirmation once the refund has been processed. It can then take a few days for the amount to show back up on your bank account once the refund has been processed and we, therefore, ask you to be patient. If you booked the tour through a booking agent you will need to contact them to receive the refund. We will confirm with them that the tour was cancelled and the refund process will start on their end. KRI KRI EXPERIENCE only receives a payment when the tour has finished, this means that your payment is still with the booking agent and therefore, the refund will be processed by them. If you pay with your card via email or phone you will need to contact us the same way again to be refunded.
  • The tour I am trying to book has less seats available than I need, what can I do?"
    Our website shows the correct number of available seats left so we can unfortunately not accommodate you and your group if the number of your group extends the number of available seats left. It is not possible to squeeze additional participants onto the departure as we have really strict policy measures as to how many participants are assigned to each guide on our tour departures. This is of course done with our customers safety in mind, so we do hope that you understand.
  • Do you do private departures for any of your tours?
    Yes, we arrange private departures on request. Most of the tours we offer can be arranged as a private tour. If you wish to have a private tour arranged you can contact us in our contact form. Please have a look at all of our private tours.
  • How do I book a tour with KRI KRI EXPERIENCE and what information do you need from me?
    There are a few different ways you can book our trips. First of all, you can book almost all our trips right here on our website. There is a booking window on each tour page and we do recommend that you book and pay for your trip there, preferably in good time as some tours tend to sell out.     Self-drive tour is a package tour that includes accommodation, car rental and suggested itinerary. The tours are self-guided but we provide you with information to make sure you know where to go and what to see, as well as general practical information about Greece. Included with our tours are accommodation and car rental, as described for each tour, itinerary with suggested points of interest along the way, GPS points for each stop (accommodation, activities, points of interest), and a detailed self-drive handbook with lots of practical information.
  • What do I do when I have a problem while traveling?
    You should contact the service provider in question: If there is a problem with the car, contact the car rental. If you have troubles finding the hotel (which shouldn’t happen as you will be provided with the address and GPS coordinates), you should call the hotel. If you have questions about an activity, contact the activity provider. You will receive all the necessary contact information from us.
  • How much time will we spend in the car every day?
    This depends on the itinerary, some are faster paced while others are more relaxed. Days can range from 100-400 km, though very few days exceed 350 km. Of course you are your own driver and guide while on a self drive tour so you are free to make detours as you wish.
  • What kind of insurance do I need?
    It is always a good idea to make sure you have good travel insurance, as you never know what might happen while in a foreign country. Sure it costs a bit extra, but it can take a load off the mind and end up being totally worth it in case something should happen. Take a look at what type of insurance is provided with your credit card, alternatively buy special travel insurance from an insurance provider. As for the car rental, you can opt to buy extra insurance at the time of collecting the car. It may be wise to buy extra insurance. Other extra car insurances would be for example sand and ash protection, or additional insurance to lower the self-risk in case of an incident.
  • Can I add twin bed for my accommodation?
    We cannot guarantee twin beds but a large majority of our hotels can accommodate twin bed arrangements and clients can contact the hotels directly after purchase to request a twin bed arrangement.
  • Which hotels will we be staying in? What category are they?
    Comfort rooms are private rooms with private bathroom in guesthouses, hotels, motels, lodges, etc. Approximately 4-star rating. Budget rooms are private rooms with private bathroom in guesthouses, hostels, hotels, etc. Approximately 3-star rating.
  • Can the itinerary be changed?
    Our self drive adventures have been optimized for the best value experience, which includes doing some thrilling activities in the amazing Greek nature. As the packages are offered at the best possible price no partial refunds or modifications to the itinerary can be permitted. That includes opting out of an included activity and getting a refund for that activity. You can, of course, choose not to do the activity but as mentioned there would be no partial refunds of the package price.
